Members of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria today,
February 18, 2014, paid a courtesy visit to President Ebele Jonathan at the
State House
The members comprising the guild
president, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Segun Arinze, Monalisa Chinda, Felix Duker, Stephanie
Linus, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo-
Ehiagwina, Funke Akindele, Fred Amata, Joseph Benjamin, Victor Osuagwu, Chidi
Mokeme, Charles Inojie and Mercy Aigbe among others, installed him as Grand
Patron of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria and implored him to relieve heads of
movie regulatory agencies, the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, and The National
Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) of their duties, accusing them of showing
lack of capacity to boost the growth of the industry.
