Bukola Saraki Emerges Senate President, Ekweremadu Emerges Deputy
Former Governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki (APC) is elected
unopposed as President of the Senate of the Eight National Assembly.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu (PDP Enugu West) is re-elected Deputy Senate
President defeating Senator Ali Ndume with 50 votes to 20 votes (one
Senator abstained).
